Abstract
In this series of works I utilized the logic of misuse in Google and body perception to present the state of the body detained in glitch, this reflects our coexistence with internet data. Can the accumulation of "Data" become it’s own set of independent worldview? Life as we know it is infiltrated by data, these images and messages alter our perception; we depend on data to navigate, the choosing of suggested transportation devices and routes efficiently takes us to our destination. We are standing upon relative coordinates on earth, where our every movement is recorded as data. The whole world at the tips of our hands, physical distance vanishes, in its place is a parallel world of data. However, in the world of data we trade the thickness of our perception for superficial comprehension, we have deja vu not from experiencing, but from the acceleration of our normal pace, our perception stalled in the blur of data. The stalled perception is not all lost in speed, I’m interested in the detention of our mind in this space, where aside from a linear progression of speed there is a state that deviates and perceives, my work has always been about the manifestation of the now.

在這系列作品裡,我以身體感觀與誤用Google使用的邏輯方式,來呈現出一種身在其中的當機滯留狀態,這些狀態反照了我們與網路數據互存的生活樣貌。
「數據」的集合是否最後形成一個獨立的世界觀?在當代的日常充滿了數據,數據的畫面以及訊息足以改變我們認知世界的方法,我們依賴著數據導航,選擇建議交通工具,高效率前往目的地,座標數據使我們確信自己立足於世界之中的相對位置,網路數據存檔著每個當下發生的事件,並且開放暢遊全世界的資訊,數據消去了物理上的距離,產出平行於真實生活的數據生活。然而,數據後面的效應,是以真實感知的厚度轉換成淺表的閱讀,它的熟悉感並不來自於實地經驗事件本身,而超速在我們熟悉的速度之上,於是我們自身的感官從此失速於數據之後。
失速中的感官並不等於完全從此被速度所剝奪,我在乎的是失速的同時,精神上的怠速滯留狀態,從線性的速度之中,獨立出垂直向上升起的狀態,使我們得以再度獲得感知,證明存在的當下,是我一貫的創作脈絡。
